THE FATHER WHO IS DOING MY DAUGHTER’S FIRST COMMUNION CLASSES LAST NIGHT TOLD US THAT GOD DOES NOT HERE ANY ONE WHO PRAYS THAT HAS NOT GONE TO CONFESSION OR HAS SINNED WITH OUT GOING TO CONFESSION. So does god here Protestants and people like me that are converting?

Please don’t post in all caps as that is considered shouting and rude.

That priest is wrong.

God hears any sinner’s cry of repentance.

Where the heck are you taking RCIA…the SSPX?

If that were so, NONE of us would EVER be forgiven because God wouldn’t hear our prayers of repentence.
He’s wrong.
Keep the faith, my friend!

In Mark 7, Jesus answered the prayer of the Syrophenician Gentile woman. He first used her to make a point to the Jews, saying: “Suffer first the children to be filled: for it is not good to take the bread of the children, and cast it to the dogs.” Her Faith was the important thing in this instance. I bet she was a true believer after that. Also the Roman Centurian in Mark 7 / Matthew 8, when Jesus cured his son.
