Socialism should simply be tried until it works properly - NPC Daily

Almost like clockwork, you can already hear the conservatives shouting at the top of their lungs in a desperate attempt to shun reality. Let’s face it – socialism is the perfect economic system. It eliminates the lower class, provides basic income, guarantees free healthcare and education and the wealth gap disappears. It sounds great on paper, so now we just need to make it work – and there’s no better place than America.

Socialism works when done correctly. We just need to have an upper class willing to cooperate. When the top 1% of the population owns more of the wealth than the bottom 80%, there’s a problem. That’s why we need to raise the taxes to 95% while providing free goods and services for all!

The future savior of our country Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez gets it! When asked how we will pay for all of these free goods and services, here’s what she has to say:

People often say, like, how are you going to pay for it and I find the question so puzzling because ‘How do you pay for something that’s more affordable? How do you pay for cheaper rent?’ You just pay for it!

What’s the cheapest price? FREE!

How to do you pay for free health care? It’s FREE! How do you pay for free education? It’s FREE! Any parts that actually require money can simply be siphoned by the upper 1% through taxes.

Often times, we are told that the upper 1% are wealthy because they own a tremendous amount of American companies so if they are taxed too high, they will leave the country and bring their company overseas. So what happens then?

We ignore that fact! Why? Because there’s a wealth gap between the rich and the poor that’s growing exponentially every year. The rich need to start paying their fair share, and their fair share is 96% of their profits and earnings.

Thankfully, the Democrats get it and with our wealth of knowledge on economics, we will be the front runners of American success. Just because it hasn’t worked in any country in the past, doesn’t mean we should be pessimistic about the future. We are liberals and naturally we see the good in everything and every one. If you don’t want free health care, that means you hate the poor. Stop being anti-American. Start being a socialist.

Private property is a God-given right. Stealing and coveting another’s property go against the 10th Commandment.
Socialism was a disaster in the Soviet Union, Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea, and Nicaragua.
There is not even ONE example of a socialist country working.

The trick seems to be to get to a position where you don’t need money.

Often times, we are told that the upper 1% are wealthy because they own a tremendous amount of American companies so if they are taxed too high, they will leave the country and bring their company overseas. So what happens then?

Stop them leaving and expropriate all of their property. Arrest them if necessary.

I am definitely not a socialist.

I can’t find the quote online, at least yet, but I have it heard it attributed to Thomas Merton:
“Communism only works in a monastery.”

There are some big differences between a monastery and a state. First, entrance into a monastery is completely voluntary, with a trial period to determine if you are suited to that life. After thousands of years it is well known that most people are not suited to be monks or nuns. Even after permanent vows, you can leave if you change your mind.

Second, monasteries also require a vow of chastity and a vow of obedience. Benedictines also take a vow of stability. When I hear AOC and her minions clamor for vows of chastity and obedience to someone other than themselves, I will seriously consider what I previously thought was insanity.

None of those Scandinavian countries are socialist. They have largely free markets, and somewhat friendly to business.

Additional research:
Not only has socialism never worked, but only 3% of the largely free-market United States population is considered to be low income, and only 2% poor rate by World Bank global standards (per Pew Research Center). The rest of the world: 56% low income and 15% poor by World Bank global standards.

In addition, if the U.S. “poor” were a nation, then it would be one of the world’s richest.
A recent study by Just Facts, an excellent source of factual information, shows that after accounting for income, charity and noncash welfare benefits such as subsidized health care, housing, food stamps and other assistance programs, “the poorest 20% of Americans consume more goods and services than the national averages for all people in the world’s most affluent countries.”

Almost like clockwork, someone presents an opinion piece that misrepresents the Democrat’s views as news.

Ooo, frontpagemag, they get a LOW rating for factual reporting.

It is also considered an anti-muslim hate group, so there’s that.

When I see all the “accidental” racist imagery coming from the right (like Trump’s recent ‘white power’ video) I wonder how those words accidentally end up in people’s mouths. The answer is right here. They deliberately expose themselves to media like this, and eventually out of their mouths comes the core message underlying all the propaganda.

The US would require far stronger immigration controls before we could offer equally expensive welfare benefits. Then we would have lower unemployment to help manage the costs.

I suspect this is why Norway has cracked down on their illegal residents, and they don’t have that many to begin with.

And if they do escape to Mexico, follow them and kill them there. Mr Stalin showed the error of Mr. Trotsky’s ways, as would any committed Socialist.

In 2017, Norway had 5.9 immigrants per thousand citizens. The US had 3.9 immigrants per thousand citizens (illegal and legal immigrants not separated.) Sweden and Iceland also had more immigrants than the US on a per-capita basis.

But I’m sure the literal Russian propaganda network Sputnik would not characterize things this way.

The ONLY one we should give complete control of our lives to is God. Anybody else we give complete control to will cause havoc.

The welfare system isn’t socialist because the fundamental economy still runs on a free market structure. By that argument, different income brackets in the US would experience varying levels of socialism due to the welfare thet may receive.

China is a weird case because the Party likes to use the word “Communism” even though they’ve slowly been gutting all of the major economic tenants. When they were a purely communist/socialist country under Mao, they country starved. Actually, most of the bad economic quarters China has experienced has been a result of the government temporarily manipulating currency/investment rules

Also did they really say:

Life in China remains relatively less stressful and more relaxed than life in capitalist countries like America

This is a joke right? Did Xi write this?
