St. Gertrude The Great question?

Many of you know about the prayer "Eternal Father I offer thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus. In union with the masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen."

My question is does anyone know about the history of this prayer?
Can anyone give any recommendations that might help like books or articles ?
Also was the part about conversion of sinners original or added at a later point?

This is a very good prayer which I really love. Thank you in advance and God bless you.

Thank you
