St. John the apostle...

Not sure if this is the right category for this. This is my best bet, I guess :stuck_out_tongue:

So, why is St. John the apostle always portrayed in art the way he is. A teenager, it would seem. Why is this? I’ve always been curious about this.

My guess is that it’s because he lived into the year 100, so he must have been very young when he was with Jesus.

This is just a random theory, based on nothing.
