Suggestions for womanly songs?

What are some womanly/feminine songs?
With links if possible please.
I've was inspired to make this thread from reading Edmundus1581's great thread on manly songs:)

Well, there is a small group that would want "I am Woman" (sigh).

How about:

"I enjoy being a girl" (Flower Drum Song)

"the simple joys of maidenhood" (Camelot)

"Part of your world" (Little Mermaid)

"I could have danced all night" and "wouldn't it be loverly" (My Fair Lady)

"Diamonds are a girl's best friend" (Gentlemen Prefer Blondes)

"If they could see me now" (Sweet Charity)

"The lady is a tramp" (Babes in Arms)

"Violets and silverbells" (Shenandoah)

"I Cain't say no" (Oklahoma)

"Waitin' for my dearie" (Brigadoon)

"Darn, I Feel Like a Woman" by Shania Twain?

"I'm Every Woman" by Whitney Houston?

"Just a Girl" by No Doubt?

"That's Not My Name" by The Ting Tings?

"You'll Be A Woman Soon" by Neil Diamond?

R E S P E C T from Lady Aretha

Thankyou, music2, for taking up this theme :)

May I suggest Favourite Things?

"Coat of Many Colors" by Dolly Parton. Her mom comes across as a very good woman.

Depends on what you mean by feminine. If you're looking for songs about strong independent women with no need for God or man, I can't help you out.

But if you're looking for something more in line with real femininity:

Carry Me by Audrey Assad

And she's Catholic by the way.

Anything by Taylor Swift.

'Strip Me' by Natasha Beddingfield (mind out of the gutter, it is not what you think it is)
'Here with me' by Dido
'Lily' by Lisa Hannigan
'Run' by Leona Lewis
'Rolling in the Deep' by Adele
'Set Fire to the Rain' by Adele

Open to all suggestions.:)

Here's a couple of my current favorites:

"I Am Woman" - Jordin Sparks

"Run the World (Girls)" - Beyonce

I also like:

"A Woman's Worth" - Alicia Keys

"Independent Women Part I" - Destiny's Child

"Independent Women Part II" - Destiny's Child

"Nasty Girl" - Destiny's Child (It's actually a song about dressing modestly, kind of ironic when you look at how the singers dress nowadays, but still a great song)

Hope this helps! God Bless You.
