Superiors + Magisterial Authority

I’m unsure where to place this question, but here in Vocations might be the case.

I’m having a conversation with someone, and the topic arose about Magisterial authority as it pertains to the consecrated life and those with Pontifical Rite. Does the Superior (or Guardian) of a group with Pontifical Rite (like say, the Dominicans, Jesuits, Franciscans and the link) have the same Magisterial authority of a Bishop? Canonically the Superior is an Ordinary, so a part of me thinks the Superior would have the same teaching authority, but I’m not sure.

EDIT: Mods, take this thread to another sub-forum if it belongs there.
