Tattoos on the Heart - book?

Has anyone read this book? My cousin is recommending it. It is written by Father Gregory Boyle. Fr. Boyle is a Jesuit priest.

I read the book and enjoyed it. It is an inspiring collection of stories about a priest who ministers to LA Gang members and how he has successfully helped many of them leave the gangs and change their lives. One of the messages I got from it is that we should avoid criticizing people for their (usually) obvious sins because we don’t know where they’ve come from. We don’t know how they were raised (or not) and we don’t know what progress they’ve already made. It also gives you hope to keep on praying for someone who you think may be a lost cause.
