Tests on skull fragment cast doubt on Adolf Hitler suicide story

Bone with bullet hole found by Russians in 1946 came from an unknown woman, not the German leader

Well, whether he committed suicide in the bunker or not (and it may well just be a case where they put the wrong names to the wrong bodies - could even be Eva Braun), Herr Hitler is certainly deceased by now. May God have mercy on his soul wherever his body may lie.

According to one FBI report, there was not enough evidence to declare Hitler legally dead. It is surprising the Russians were caught with such an obvious, to a qualified expert, misrepresentation.

Well they have not found his skull yet… OK, I can accept that.
He is surely dead by now and if this has been a ploy to stage his death then we got to live with the fact that we did not get him… Suicide or flight, we did not get a hold of him either way… why get upset now that we can’t do much about it anyways?

Whatever happened happened. I’m just surprised the Russians were caught with a female skull fragment. You’d think their own forensic pathologists would have caught that before putting it on display.

Peace,
Ed
