Thank you and Farewell

Firstly if this is in the wrong place then please feel free to move it to the correct forum.

As many of you are aware I have not been around the forums much of late. Both my life and what I beleive in have changed and because of these changes I will no longer be coming on to the forums.

I want to thank you all for your advice, prayers and friendship and know that I hold you all in high esteem. As you walk through this life may you find nothing but peace, happiness and joy.

Thank you all and farewell.

This made me sad to read. I hope she finds the way back to the true Church in time. (Because I read this to mean she is not in the Catholic Church now.) My prayers today will be for her and for** all** who have wandered from the Catholic Church and Her beliefs.

My dear friend

I’m not sure what you intend to do. But you can leave the forums but don’t leave God. God is heaven and when we leave God we choose non God which is hell. Without God nothing has any meaning or purpose and it’s very few that find there way back onto the narrow path that leads to life. If your upset about something it’s best to trust in God blindly , and not yourself. God is infinitely perfect and does all with infinite perfection. He loves us infinitely too.We are very finite with very little knowledge or understanding and get it wrong most of the time. We are very foolish if we doubt or question God who has infinite knowledge and always does what’s best for us. If we encounter the cross and leave God we are rejeting that which will bring us heaven. It’s your choice but try to note yor mind is very finite and incapable of much and prone to evil and weak. It’s best to just have blind trust in God and persevere no matter what. I’ll pray for you.

God bless you:thumbsup::slight_smile:

I read once, where you stated that these were your Patron Saints, so, I am going to ask all
of them to intercede on your behalf for all of your needs. May God’s will be done! Amen
St Bernadette,
St Therese of the Child Jesus,
St Barbara,
St Martha, and
St Joseph

…and remember this:

"Wait"
by Russell Kelfer

Desperately, helplessly, longingly, I cried;
Quietly, patiently, lovingly, God replied.
I pled and I wept for a clue to my fate…
and the Master so gently said,“Wait.”

“Wait? you say wait?” my indignant reply.
"Lord, I need answers, I need to know why!"
Is your hand shortened? Or have you not heard?
By faith I have asked, and I’m claiming your Word.

My future and all to which I relate
hangs in the balance and you tell me to Wait?"
I’m needing a ‘yes’, a go-ahead sign.
Or even a ‘no,’ to which I’ll resign.
You promised, dear Lord, that if we believe,
We need but to ask, and we shall receive.
Lord, I’ve been asking, and this is my cry:
I’m weary of asking! I need a reply.

Then quietly, softly, I learned of my fate
As my Master replied again, "Wait."
So I slumped in my chair, defeated and taut,
and grumbled to God, "So, I’m waiting…for what?"
He seemed then to kneel, and His eyes met with mine…
and He tenderly said, "I could give you a sign.
I could shake the heavens and darken the sun.
I could raise the dead and cause mountains to run.

I could give all you seek and pleased you would be.
You’d have what you want, but you wouldn’t know Me.
You’d not know the depth of My love for each saint.
You’d not know the power that I give to the faint.
You’d not learn to see through clouds of despair;
You’d not learn to trust just by knowing I’m there.
You’d not know the joy of resting in Me
When darkness and silence are all you can see.

You’d never experience the fullness of love
When the peace of My spirit descends like a dove.
You would know that I give, and I save, for a start,
But you’d not know the depth of the beat of My heart.
The glow of My comfort late into the night,
The faith that I give when you walk without sight.
The depth that’s beyond getting just what you ask
From an infinite God who makes what you have last.

You’d never know should your pain quickly flee,
what it means that My grace is sufficient for thee.
Yes, your dearest dreams overnight would come true,
but oh, the loss if I lost what I’m doing in you!
So, be silent, my child, and in time you will see
that the greatest of gifts is to truly know me.
And though often My answers seem terribly late,
My most precious answer of all is still…“Wait”.

:blessyou:

Will be keeping you in my prayers.

Goodbye Star :frowning:

Dear friend, I hope you are still around to read this it made me really sad to know that you are leaving CAF. :frowning:

I hope and pray that their is someway-somehow that you’ll change your mind and heart about the Catholic Church and perhaps CAF

Thank you for the many Prayers (and Prayers do work take a look at my Aunt she’s so much better)

St. Jude Prayer

Most holy apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honors and invokes you universally, as the patron of hopeless cases, of things almost despaired of. Pray for me, I am so helpless and alone. Make use I implore you, of that particular privilege given to you, to bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly - (here make your request) for our dear friend and sister StarMaiden that I may praise God with you and all the elect forever.
I promise, O blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, to always honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to you. Amen.

St. Rita Prayer

God, through the prayers of St. Rita, may we learn to bear our crosses in life
in the same spirit in which she bore hers. Amen.

God bless you in whatever path you choose my friend

Thank you so very much StarMaiden for being my greeter on “Meet and Greet #39”:

Dear StarMaiden, my response was stupid and very foolish:

I’m very sorry, and I hope you can forgive a foolish idiot like me.

I’m a horrible sinner, but if God would hear me, I ask that He bless you eternally with wisdom and grace and that one day you become Catholic again.

Farewell StarMaiden, and I really hope everything works out well for you adn that you really do fare well in all your wants and needs.

And I also pray to God that He makes your “signature” come true: ‘May I tread gently upon this world and bring harmony and joy to those I meet upon the way’.

Sincerely,
Answersplease

I do pray that someday Dawn "StarMaiden" will come across CAF and see that people truly do care about her and that she is always welcomed back to Catholic Church (that is if she left). God loves her as well.

I also started a Prayer for Dawn titled "Please Pray for our dear friend StarMaiden"
