I have posted several times about David, my friend who is struggling with alcoholism. You have all generously prayed. He is now two weeks sober. Please continue to pray for him. Recovery is a life long battle. God bless you all and thank you.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Kate, yes it is a lifelong battle. Our thanks to God, and congratulations to David for his two weeks of sobriety. I ask the saint of recovering alcoholics, (addictives), Matthew Talbot, to intercede faithfully for your friend David. Pass on my best wishes…Trishie

Father, we ask you to guard David against
all desires to have alcohol.
Send him your special angels to protect him.
Give him peace and comfort.
We thank you for the two weeks he has
remained sober and we praise you for it.
AMEN
