The deciding moment for atheist.

This question is for atheist and whoever thinks they know the answer. At what point do atheist stop and just say “there is no god”? When they are absolutely certain that there is no God, just us and death. I wonder how long it takes them to come to that conclusion. Were they born in a secular family? Did they use the “problem of evil”? What finally drives them to believe such a claim?
