The Joys Of Confession

I just want to use this post to tell of my confession experience and to spread the joys of this sacrament.

Two days ago I went to confession.

I didn’t care if my mother saw me go to the confessional, I didn’t care what the priest would think (the priest will never judge you). I was desperate for God’s grace.

I thought that I couldn’t procrastinate any longer and MUST go to confession.

You should not allow anything to prevent you from going to confession, and getting God’s grace again, restoring your salvation.

I want all teens (including anyone reading this) to know the importance of confession. And, that there is nothing to be afraid of—the priest will guide you through the confession, and God will be on your side because He yearns so much for you to be in Heaven one day.

My soul, once dead has been revived. Deo Gratias, Praise Be To God.

I feel like a baby that has been baptized and has no trace of sin.

I confessed my deepest and darkest sins that have been burdening on my shoulders for so long.

I feel at peace, and my life is starting to gain structure and order, which I have been yearning for.

Knowing that one’s salvation and assurance of Heaven has been restored, by the Grace of God, is the greatest happiness in the world and the greatest sense of relief.

Please read Psalm 32.

~~ This Psalm is TRULY beautiful. ~~

Psalm 32:

"I Blessed is the one whose fault is removed,
whose sin is forgiven.

2 Blessed is the man to whom the LORD imputes no guilt,
in whose spirit is no deceit."

The Gospel readings were especially relevant:

See here:

‘Rejoice with me because I have found my lost sheep.’
I tell you, in just the same way
there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents
than over ninety-nine righteous people
who have no need of repentance.

“Or what woman having ten coins and losing one
would not light a lamp and sweep the house,
searching carefully until she finds it?
And when she does find it,
she calls together her friends and neighbors
and says to them,
‘Rejoice with me because I have found the coin that I lost.’
In just the same way, I tell you,
there will be rejoicing among the angels of God
over one sinner who repents.”

Jesus also speaks of the Prodical Son:

"He said to him,
‘My son, you are here with me always;
everything I have is yours.
But now we must celebrate and rejoice,
because your brother was dead and has come to life again;
he was lost and has been found.’”

—> Please come back to the LORD. <—**

Go to confession; you have nothing to lose!!

When I go to confess, I feel so relaxed, I feel ready if God were to say, Alright your time is now to come to me because I know that no matter how bad of a sinner I am, he has forgiven me through his beautiful sacrament of confession.

But, best of all is that I can take part in another beautiful Sacrament, the Eucharist. The body and blood of my Lord
