The Narnian sea serpent is like the Biblical serpent

Despite art of the serpent being in a tree, I heard from one of Jeff Cavin’s talks that the serpent of the Bible was a sea serpent in Hebrew and it was what we call Leviathan. I wrote the Hebrew name in English letters, as he spelled it, but I don’t have that with me. Any case, this movie’s serpent also tempts the characters away from Aslan. I don’t know if the serpent is in control of the green smoke or it controls the serpent or neither.

Interesting. Never thought of it that way.

Could be Leviathan----------but I doubt very much it is Satan.
