"Then they will love Jesus with the Immaculata's heart." (St. Maximilian Kolbe)

…We know so little as yet about all that the Immaculata has done for the human race, from the first instant of her existence to this very day…Every grace given to us has passed through her hands…And all this must be proposed to souls so that they may be nourished with the Immaculata…so that they may resemble her as soon as possible, and be changed into her. Then they will love Jesus with the Immaculata’s heart. ( Letter of St. Maximilian Kolbe to his Brothers at the Polish “City of the Immaculata” dated Oct. 30, 1935)

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Words quoted above are from the Introduction to the book, Immaculate Conception and the Holy Spirit, subtitled “The Marian Teachings of St. Maximilian Kolbe”. St. Louis de Montfort writing in the 1700’s True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, in paragraph 266, also advises us before Communion:

…Implore Mary to lend you her heart so that you may receive her Son with her dispositions.

While our recent Popes, especially Pope St. John Paul II have written much on Our Blessed Mother and encouraged us by their example of loving Jesus with the Immaculata’s heart, so many it seems have drifted away from the Mother and the Son.

St. Maximilian Kolbe, pray for us.
St. Louis de Montfort, pray for us.
Pope St. John Paul II, pray for us.
Mary Immaculate, pray for us; lend us your heart that we may love Jesus more!
Come Holy Spirit, fill us with the fire of Your Love, as you filled Mary. Help us love and share Jesus with others as she did on earth.
