Third Order Information

How can I best find out about third orders in my area? Is there some kind of national (USA) guide to Catholic lat vocations?
I’m in MN.

Do you mean Third Order Secular or Regular?
If you are looking for secular, the Secular Franciscan region would be Queen of Peace - they have a listing of the local “fraternities” within their boundaries.

Hm. Not sure I understand your answer. I would like to know whether, for example there are third order Dominicans, Benedictines, Franciscans, etc in my area and how to learn about them.

What diocese are you in? See if third orders are listed on their website.

Which ones are you most interested in? Where in MN are you?

There are numerous Franciscan fraternities in the state. There is a Dominican group in Minneapolis. I believe there are a few Carmelite fraternities around, especially near the cities (although there is one in Winona too). There are also Benedictine oblates through St Johns Abbey in Collegeville
