This thread is not about the S-word.....come here if your bored with those threads

For those of us who are tired of that certain topic that keeps coming up lets post some new topic ideas here.

Frankly it’s getting just old. Any ideas for more interesting topics?? I’ll start.

What’s the funniest topic you ever remember here?
For me I think it was some of the posts left in “Dead mans boots”

Let's see...

hairstyles...no that would probably turn into a modestly debate

pets...no probably turn into a pets have souls like people debate

kids...no that will turn into a NFP or I don't want kids debate

weather...nope global warming

school...nope, to homeschool or not

gee...I'm out of ideas sorry:D

"The S-word"?

#4

I'm guess ing s...e...x? Am I right?

#5

What! We can’t say that word now? :banghead:

If you were trapped in a lift with a muslim, a jew, an atheist and a protestant…

Who would you find yourself arguing or debating with the most? :hmmm:

#6

I’d ask the Muslim, Jew, and Protestant to pray for us while the atheist worked on getting us un-trapped while I panicked because I’m claustrophobic.

And now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go and maritally embrace my husband. :rotfl:

TGIF, y’all! :tiphat:

The hairstyle thread has already happened. It didn't turn into a modesty debate -- what actually happened was far worse:

forums.catholic.com/showthread.php?t=323576

(In summary -- woman asks men for their opinions on short hair on women. Men give their honest opinion. A horrific flame war results.)

However, if you're looking for the strangest topic that I remember here, it has to be this one:

forums.catholic.com/showthread.php?t=360158

No way. There is just no way that someone called "sex" "the s-word"...Avoid sex threads, I can see that - avoiding the typing of the word as if it's dirty? Wow.

#10

Good question.I would be more likely to ask question of the Jewish person, listen about have heartedly to the Muslim, and debate and argue with the protestant.

#11

Let's talk about summer plans. :tanning:

As long as we don't involve swimsuits, going to Disney (or NOT), school schedules, how to get to Mass while travelling, or if its OK to give the kids benedryl before getting in the car for a nine hour trip. :p

Can Women wear pants....I didn't know there was something wrong with wearing pants. :D:p;) :D

[/quote]

It's much preferred they wear no pants at all. ;) :p

Food is a good topic. Does anyone have a good hot wings recipe? I would like to get away from the traditional "louisiana-style hot sauce and butter" a la Buffalo wings , and get a more crunchy crispy exterior.
