3 Schaller teens die in crash
’They’re your good, salt-of-the-earth kids’
By Nicole Paseka Journal staff writer

SCHALLER, IOWA – Anthony Clark would have turned 17 today.

But his life, along with the lives of two of his Schaller-Crestland classmates, ended Wednesday morning when the car they were traveling in spun out of control on a slushy bridge and crashed into a semitrailer.

Cody Claussen, 17, and his brother, Samuel Collier, 15, both of Schaller, Iowa, were killed instantly. Clark was taken by ambulance to Loring Hospital in Sac City, Iowa, where he died about 15 minutes after his arrival.

May they rest in peace, and may God give strength to their families and friends at this time

Our Father in Heaven
Holy be Your Name
Your Kingdom come
Your Will be done
On earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us
Do not bring us to the test
But deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace!
The Lord is with you
Blessed are you among women
And Blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God
Pray for us sinners
Now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory be to the Father,
And to the Son,
And to the Holy Spirit.

As it was in the beginning
Is now and ever shall be
World without end.
Amen.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord,
And let perpetual light shine upon them.

May they rest in peace.
Amen.

May the souls of the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen.
