Tridentine Latin Rite (Indult)

My family is so fortunate to live in St. Louis where Archbishop Burke has been so generous to those Catholics who prefer the traditional Latin Mass. We were just granted one of the most beautiful churches in the Midwest, St. Francis De Sales Oratory in south St. Louis. It needs much work from years of neglect, but is already awesome. Bishop Burke invited the Institute of Christ the King, Sovereign Priest to move to the Oratory, offer the traditional Latin rites, and begin a seminary. We have truly been blessed.

All this to say, if you are fortunate enough to have the Tridentine Mass offered in your area, make sure to check it out-- especially if you are frustrated with the irreverence and silliness that can be so prevalent in many Novus Ordo parishes.

Amen brother!

Amen! I  the Tridentine.

With the generous support of His Excellency Most Reverend Ronald W. Gainer, Bishop of Lexington, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass according to the traditional Latin rite is now offered every Sunday at 4pm at St. Peter’s Church in downtown Lexington, Kentucky.
