Good for him!

#3

Washington Post ran the story before NBC. I do remember reading that he get’s his news from TV and doesn’t like reading so maybe that’s why he thinks it was NBC?

I would say if the leaked part isn’t in the public report than he has a point.

Wait, wasn’t he supposed to tell us some secret information he has about the hacking this past Tuesday or Wednesday? Where is his secret info proving them all wrong?

#4

Still waiting for that. Fake Tweet?

#5

Yep tomorrow is Sat already.

#6

Here are some other options:

Wait for Obama to officially declare we ought to go to war with Russia over alleged hack. That is, if he’s brave enough to do it within 13 days before he leaves.

or,

Wait for Trump inauguration to be overturned because of alleged Russia Hack.

Good luck!

Trump has had early information on several issues before the election. Including terrorism, Russian airliners, Hillary, etc.
perhaps he has good sources or perhaps he is just good at reading tea leaves. But given the past 8, no wait, 16 years of two presidents that may have assumed more powers and liberties than any others along with masterful manipulation of public opinion through the media perhaps Trump is indeed a political savvy genius.

Or the KGB briefs him…

#8

I will trust Trump who hasn’t done anything to hurt us rather than the people who told us Benghazi was caused by a youtube video.

#9

Me too and I intend to pray for him - a lot!

#10

Deflect, distract…it makes me think that the PE is concerned that more is already known concerning Russia.

#11

Yep. He is certainly on a hot streak.
I have a hope that this president will be just what we need.

#12

Yes. But I think that’s just his mode of operation, to say he will share information later. If I remember correctly he had some information to share about Obama’s birth certificate. He also was going to talk more about what he would do with his businesses back in December but pushed that to January. It’s a great way to not actually provide supporting information for something ; the public attention span tends to be short.

#13

Sheriff Joe gave a press conference in December about final analysis of birth certificate a couple of weeks before Christmas.

#14

Maybe Russia did tell Hillary Clinton to put her homebrew email server in her basement, not to go to Wisconsin or Michigan, and to put stuff on Anthony Weiner’s laptop…

#15

This intelligence information has been circulating around Washington and the newsrooms of top news organizations for months. I’d heard talk of it.

If Mr. Trump had been more available for his security briefings these last two months and open to hearing info re Russia instead of insisting over and over that they were doing nothing wrong…maybe he would have learned about this sooner.

As it is, today he finally admitted: “I think Russia hacked Democrats.”

Well, hallelujah.

.

It’s hard to blame Trump too much, though. The left has been very disingenuous in this election and did not show the same grace that the GOP base did in 2008 when Obama/Biden won.

Also interesting that I have seen no major liberal voice or journalist criticize the Obama Administration or Debbie Wasserman-Schultz for these breaches.

Clearly, they are not interested in American security or free and fair elections, but in undermining the President-elect.

From back in late October 2016 just BEFORE the presidential election (from Reuters News service) . . . .

Obama tells Trump to ‘stop whining’ over rigged election claims

By Emily Stephenson and Ayesha Rascoe | WASHINGTON/GRAND JUNCTION, COLO.

U.S. President Barack Obama lacerated Donald Trump on Tuesday over his repeated assertions that the Nov. 8 election is rigged against him, telling the Republican presidential candidate to “stop whining and go try to make his case to get votes.”

With opinion polls showing him falling further back against his White House rival, Democrat Hillary Clinton, Trump has intensified his allegations, although numerous studies have shown that voter fraud in U.S. elections is rare… . .

. . . . Obama was asked about Trump’s voter fraud assertions on Tuesday at a joint news conference in the White House Rose Garden following meetings with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi.

He responded with a blistering attack on the Republican candidate, noting that U.S. elections are run and monitored by local officials, who may well be appointed by Republican governors of states, and saying that cases of significant voter fraud were not to be found in American elections.

Obama said there was “no serious” person who would suggest it was possible to rig American elections, adding, “I’d invite Mr. Trump to stop whining and go try to make his case to get votes.” . . .

Obama tells Trump: ‘Stop whining’ and try to win votes instead

**In an Oct. 18 news conference, President Obama told Donald Trump to “stop whining” over claims that the presidential election is rigged. **

President Obama, again inserting himself into the campaign to succeed him, scolded Donald Trump on Tuesday for his repeated allegations that the election is “rigged” and told the Republican nominee to “stop whining.” . . .

Seems like President Obama only rejects a “rigged election” when he thought Hillary was going to win.

If this alleged “hacking” was floating around “newsrooms” for “months”, WHY wasn’t President Obama called out for his flippant disparaging remarks and disregards on this issue?

After all. President Obama is the one who had access to the highest level of Government intel.

#18

As I understand it the claims of a rigged election refer to interference from within the system, while what is being discussed now is attempts to influence from outside the country.

#19

This story is just another example on how the left refuses to accept they lost the election fair and square. They just can’t accept there are reasonable people that disagree with how the country was ran by their liberal views.

Their belief is those that disagree with liberal policies are homophobic, misogynistic, racist, xenophobes that are poorly educated.

:confused:Pehaps this was meant for another thread?

Their belief is those that disagree with liberal policies are homophobic, misogynistic, racist, xenophobes that are poorly educated.

So you say in the post-truth era.
