**U.K. Will Be Global Leader of Free Trade, Theresa May Says

British Prime Minister Theresa May said Thursday the U.K. would become a world leader in promoting the merits of globalization, underscoring her vision of an internationalist Britain outside the European Union.

“The United Kingdom, a country that has so often been at the forefront of economic and social change, will step up to a new leadership role as the strongest and most forceful advocate for business, free markets and free trade anywhere in the world,” Mrs. May said at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

She said center-ground, mainstream political parties needed to look out more for the less well-off and that governments should ensure free trade and globalization worked for the most vulnerable in society.

Her comments came two days after she announced the U.K. would be quitting its membership of Europe’s single market, the world’s largest trading bloc. At the time, she said she would instead seek the greatest possible access to the single market through a free-trade agreement…

Mrs. May acknowledged that negotiations with the EU would be challenging and that instability lay ahead for the U.K.

“Britain must face up to a period of momentous change; it means we must go through a tough negotiation and forge a new role for ourselves in the world; it means accepting that the road ahead will be uncertain at times,” Mrs. May said.**

May gets more proficient in dressing up inanity every day.

“I’m in favour of good stuff, the UK is in favour of good stuff, we should all be in favour of good stuff, good stuff can happen but it might be difficult.”

She needs to invest in using a twitter account and typing statements in capitals. I hear that is the new modus operandi for success in the political world. Her speech of the last few days ticked all the boxes for, ‘One hundred percent waffle with added vagueness’.
