Since the site is down, its hard to be sure, but I suspect Gregory Steven Hart’s websites also included advertising. If so, he was profiting by stealing the work of others, which is not at all like a library.

That does appear to be the case, otherwise, how could he offer Marvel or others a ‘revenue-sharing’ arrangement?
