Anyway you look at this, it is an act of war so I guess Ukraine is now at war with Russia?

Russia called it a “fantasy”.

Russia’s defence ministry said the incursion reports were “some kind of fantasy”.

It said: “There was no Russian military column that crossed the Russian-Ukrainian border either at night or during the day.”

**NATO saw “Russian incursion” into Ukraine: Anders Fogh Rasmussen **

OPENHAGEN: NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said on Friday a “Russian incursion” into Ukraine had occurred overnight, but stopped short of characterising it as an invasion.

“Last night we saw a Russian incursion, a crossing of the Ukrainian border,” he told reporters after meeting the Danish defence minister.

"It just confirms the fact that we see a continuous flow of weapons and fighters from Russia into eastern Ukraine and it is a clear demonstration of conti …

And of course, like earlier allegations-NATO refuses to provide proof-I suppose we’ll see some rock solid social media proof. That’ll fix those Russkies

The Telegraph witnessed a column of vehicles including both armoured personal carriers and soft-skinned lorries crossing into Ukraine at an obscure border crossing near the Russian town of Donetsk shortly before 10pm local time.

The Ukrainian and Western governments have long accused Russia of filtering arms and men across the border to fuel the separatist insurgency in Ukraine’s Donetsk and Luhansk regions, but such an incident has never before been witnessed by Western journalists.

The convoy, which included at least 23 vehicles, appeared to be waiting until sunset near a refugee camp just outside Donetsk, before moving towards the crossing without turning off headlights or making any other attempt to conceal itself.

While it was not immediately clear whether all of that convoy crossed the border, The Telegraph did see a substantial number of vehicles pass through check point manned by gunmen after shadowing the convoy down narrow country lanes near the frontier.

While the force did not seem to be a substantial invasion force, it confirms that military supplies are moving across the border. While the APCs carried no visible markings the fuel tankers and soft-skinned trucks in the convoy bore black Russian military number plates.

The vehicles do not appear to be associated with the Russian aid convoy that is camped 20 miles further down the same road.

Any photographs? videos? Satellite surveillance?

And so far it seems that we still have no photographic evidence that a Russian armored column was destroyed by Ukraine. But I imagine for many people, the mere fact that they’re pro-Western means it really happened because they claim it did. At the same time I keep hearing how unreliable Russia’s state controlled media is and how many stories are sheer fabrications. And yet, when Russia claimed that the so called peaceful Euro Maidan movement had many violent thugs within it’s ranks, they were able to provide ample video evidence to substantiate there outrageous claims. Same thing when they said local people (too old or young to be soldiers) were out in the streets in Eastern Ukraine waving Russian flags and shouting there opposition to the takeover in Kiev. Same thing again when they claimed a uniformed policeman in Odessa fired at unarmed protesters trying to escape from a burning building. Then even more times when they said the Ukrainian military was killing civilians and then showed the bodies lying in the street and interviewed the survivors who’s homes were destroyed.

For a state controlled media that supposedly specializes in propoganda, Russia does a surprisingly good job of covering the situation in Eastern Ukraine. Certainly better than most Western news agencies.

The same thing happened with the downing of the airliner. Russia supplied photographic evidence, records ect. Western sources alleged social media, but never supplied any real evidence.

Somehow, I really doubt NATO or the UN would rely on ‘social media’ as proof of something going on in the world LOL.

After all, they have much better ways to learn if something is happening, like the NRO, in the US, Im still amazed at some of this agencies abilities, plus, im sure there alot more they can do but the public has no idea about!

Well, NATO’s boss-the US-has.
