By Matthew Cullinan HoffmanMEXICO CITY, February 3, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A leader in the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) has declared that the breakdown of traditional families, far from being a “crisis,” is actually a triumph for human rights.Speaking at a colloquium held last…

Unbelievable! How could anyone actually believe this?

Why does this not surprise me?

view and listen to “The UN and the Occult Agenda” (#226)

There are two parts to this video. It’s very enlightening.

If anyone says that the UN is not a truly evil organization, they need to rethink their position.

The UN needs to be eliminated.

It will never happen, it’s the backbone of the One Worlder’s.

Then we are to oppose it and ignore its unjust edicts that go against God’s Natural Law.

Don’t worry, you’ll get your chance.

Only problem is that opposing or ignoring those edicts may become illegal one day. With the present administration in Washington it may become harder to ignore the UN. Sad to say.

How could anyone say something like this with a straight face? I’m flabbergasted.

To look on the other side, when the idea of family is misused, let’s say in child abuse cases or young girls given away in marriage to settle debts, I suppose someone could use this argument, ridiculous as it may be.
You can assume the UN is not a friend of the traditional family to start with and connects the whole concept to “male domination”, etc.

They are not, and they do.

And it’s then that the persecutions will begin.

Leonardo Casco, a member of the Pontifical Council for the Family and a citizen of Honduras, told LifeSiteNews that he wasn’t surprised that the UNFPA was denying the crisis in the family.

“They definitely have to deny that there is a crisis in the family, because they have created the crisis,” he said.

Calling the UNFPA “bureaucrats at the service of death,” Casco observed that “after 45 years of birth control, the pill, disrespect for marriage for the family, for children, etc, this is the result. Because of that we have violence, war, lack of respect of women, children.”

Through their promotion and distribution of contraceptives the UNFPA has become “a birth control agency at the service of the most powerful countries” said Casco. “They have destroyed the family, values, this is undeniable, it’s what everyone says … but they always have to deny it.”

Regarding Hoekman’s comments about “human rights,” Casco responded that UNFPA bureaucrats “have invented a series of new ‘human rights’,” that did not exist when the concept was defined in 1948, “with which they wish to justify all of their actions.”

Beyond seeing the traditional family as male dominated, the traditional family unit also poses a stumbling block for those who desire us to owe sole allegiance to a global govt.
(And I’m not a conspiracy theory person per say, but it only makes sense.)

Yes, exactly. There are 2 things that stand in the way of a person giving their total allegience to the state.
The Family, and the church.
So these have to be destroyed and they have been trying to do that for the last 50 years.
Many who try to promote the anit-family view don’t know the ultimate agenda but go along with it so they can justify their own sexual libertine ways.

You’ll be accused of paranoia for saying such things, but that doesn’t mean it’s not true.

The UN has no qualms in admitting its goals for the world and it has some very disturbing allies in its efforts.

Get US out of the UN and the UN out of the US.

Put your faith in God, and keep your powder dry.

[quote=link]…The UNFPA recently celebrated the restoration of US support after seven years, during which they were denied funding by the Bush administration. UNFPA has cooperated with and even helped to subsidize China’s One Child Policy, which persecutes and performs forced abortions on women who have more than one child.

In addition to its support for forced abortions, the UNFPA has helped to administer forced sterilizations in South America and is involved in the distribution and promotion of contraceptives and sterilization worldwide, with a focus on poorer countries.

The one thing that disheartened me most about the election is just how many Catholics played down just what an Obama presidency would mean to the pro-life struggle.

I am uncertain if Catholics made arguments for him out of naivety, whether they were lying, or whether they were just not all that into the pro-life cause.

American tax dollars will no be funding the destruction of life and the family once more.

Is this what Catholics voted for?

Whatever. They certainly did not vote against it.

This presents an opportunity. The U.S. needs to fund a special program to send these U.N. bureaucrats on speaking tours to Saudi Arabia and Sudan. The resulting job openings would help aleviate unemployment.
