Urgent prayers for homeless drug addicted brother

Need prayers for the above problem. He is so sick and choses this for himself and it is so sad and so disturbing to all of us around him who love him. No one can possibly understand how disturbing it is to know that your brother would rather live on the streets than in the comfort of his own bed just to use. He is still very young, and I hope he can change.

Yes, I will pray. Will you please pray for my brother as well? Tim

Pray for the intercession of Venerable Matt Talbot. He needs another couple of verified bona fide miracles for his Cause.

Prayer for the Canonization of Matt Talbot

Lord, in your servant Matt Talbot you have given us a wonderful example of triumph over addiction, of devotion to duty, and of lifelong reverence for the Most Holy Sacrament. May his life of prayer and penance give us courage to take up our crosses and follow in the footsteps of Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Father, if it be your will that your beloved servant should be glorified by your Church, make known by your heavenly favours the power he enjoys in your sight. We ask this through the same Jesus Christ Our Lord

There is hope. Just look @ Father Corapi and the example he has set for all addicts. He is a recovering coke addict and is now a top notch Catholic theologian, apologist, catechist and priest who was ordained by our Holy Father Pope John Paul the Great.

I ask for Saint Maximilian Kolbe to couple my prayers…

Amen to Corapi. I had to great pleasure to share a dinner with him when he came to speak to the Austin diocese.(when I still was lucky to live there) He is more gentle in person, but still a person you are awestruck by just being in his presence.

And his lectures…if you can attend…Do It! And buy the tapes.
