Vatican Calls for Resignation of Fatima Bishop and Rector Guerra

The Vatican thinks the folks at the Fatima Shrine went too far with the Hindu Ritual, which desecrated the altar at the Fatima Shrine. The folks responsible may now be out of a job! Read:

This is justice, and I support the Vatican in this decision.

Sorry to rain on your parade but the Bishop has reached that magical of 74and this is all just the standard procedure.There doesn’t seem to be any punishment here. Just normal retirement.

The bishop in question doesn’t turn 75 until June 2005. If news is true, it is not a normal retirement.

Maybe someone is awake in the Vatican.
