Vatican II

#1

I do not know the best forum for this question.

I was told forty years ago that Vatican II said: If a religious community stops doing the ministry for which the Holy Spirit founded it, it would die?

Is that accurate? Did Vatican II actually say that?

THANKS!

You might want to send a PM to JReducation. He is a Franciscan Superior who posts here. He will be able to answer your question. Just do an advanced search and you'll find him.

Certainly look for anything that Br. JREducation has to say- he is a plethora of information.

This document from VII may help also Decree on the Adaptation & Renewal of Religious Life
