Was Judas an Apostle?

This is Holy Thursday and we say the Last Supper was the institution of the Eucharist. Does that mean Judas became a priest too? (I want to say no but if someone wished to argue the other way, I"m not sure how I could respond.) If a priest, and being one of the Twelve, would he be an Apostle too?

I’m not looking to say anything against the Church. I spent four years in seminary and this never came up; I can’t recall reading anything on the subject. I’m thinking there should be a good answer here that I just don’t know.

God bless,
