What are you thankful to God for today?

Today has been a good day. I’m thankful for my wife, my stepson, and my grandchildren returning home safely from a trip to see my mother-in-law.
I’m thankful for some very special people on this forum whom have shared their faith and wisdom with me.
I’m thankful for members of my parish and the fellowship we share.
I’m thankful for my son sharing special moments of my grandson’s day with me.

I am thankful that today a family member’s medical test came back clean. I am thankful that I felt healthy and had energy. I am thankful that I had some quiet time to myself. And I am thankful that the sun was shining.

Thanks for asking. The big things are obvious, but it is so important to be thankful for the small things, too!

I’m thankful for my computer and net connection.
For being able still to go where I want on my own feet.
For having sight and hearing. For excellent medical care.
For a family who love me, and for friends.

For the fact that my nearest church building is a short walk from where I live.

For good food and the money to afford it.
For the fact that the Holy Spirit led me to join the Charismatic movement.
For the most holy Rosary.

I am thankful that the robins’ nests were safe enough this year to produce 20-30 fledglings that are practicing their flying skills every morning across my yard.

They were my Mom’s favorite bird. I imagine her standing outside with me, watching them. I am thankful to have had her as my mom.

For our good, holy, devout, true Priest who teaches us so much about the Faith from the ambo but MOSTLY by the example of how he lives and all Catholic clergy—Seminarians—Consecrated Religious. For my Catholic Faith, my family, my friends. For every blessing and grace I’ve received. For the good Confessions I’ve been able to make through my life especially recently. For all those who help me on this journey of life. For the rain we just got that was greatly needed.

The sacraments, our religious freedom, the gift of faith, the gift of life, having parents who never divorced, and grateful for so many other gifts God has given…it will take eternity to thank him. Also grateful for our Church and the blessed Mother, all saints and angels too.

My mother liked robins too. 20 to 30 fledglings is
a delight to see.:deciduous_tree: :rose:

Today I am particularly thankful that my big toe stopped hurting and is apparently healing.

In general I am thankful for my family, my good friends, my physical and mental health, my life and all my experiences, even the bad ones, the people I have met through the years and the ones I have lost, and the existence of the world despite its many problems.

Ditto! Exactly this in my life, too.

I’m also thankful for our new home and community, for a wonderful parish, for nourishing family dinners.
