For all of God’s provisions, great and small.
For having a body that functions well enough to go for a run through fields and round the local reservoir today. When running - for feeling alive, in the moment and connected to everything. For the almost overwhelming beauty of the natural world. For my partner who came with me, even though we’ve driven each other crazy this weekend .
Most of all for the Mass today though.
Always thankful for inner peace, which this world cannot give.
That is so true. What God gives we cannot find any where else.
That I was well enough after being sick to do my work today
That He taught me a lesson I needed to be reminded of on the day before I start my new job that I will need on that job
That I have a job to start tomorrow
And!!! For helping me make it to Mass today, and for welcoming me when I arrived!!!
I’m thankful for our Pastor and the spiritual guidance he has provided.
I’m thankful for the smiles on the faces of my grandkids.
I’m thankful for ice cream.
God bless Father R. M.
A rest day after yesterday’s tiring travel (bus to motorcoach to flight to train to bus, 10½ hours ).
For the good people here, and many other blessings.
I’m thankful for those who pray for those who have fallen away from the Catholic Faith.
I am thankful for having good doctors caring for me. For my medications. For having a roof over my head and plenty of good food to eat. For still being able to care for myself and not be reliant on others for personal care. That I still am capable of managing my own finances, and have sufficient money for my needs. For my pets. For my family and friends. For all those who I’ve ‘met’ through CAF. For my life. For the Church and all the Sacraments.
For never being too old to learn and for being able to admit there is much I still don’t know
Looking down at the grass, and not looking up at it.
I’m thankful for my loving wife.
I’m thankful for a beautiful summer day.
And yes, I’m thankful for coffee!
Today I’m thankful for medicine to take away my migraine.
I’m thankful no one was injured last night during the lightning storm that occurred during the first night of our church festival.
I’m thankful for the recent rains we’ve had and badly needed, for the great participation in our church festival, and for a good night’s sleep.
For my work colleagues
