What do I need to do to begin RCIA?

#1

I’m looking to convert to Catholicism, but I’m unsure of how to approach a priest about this. I know I have to take the RCIA classes, but when do those normally start? How do I go about getting into these classes? Any help would be appreciated!

Dear Liz,

RCIA classes usually begin at the end of Summer. Give your local Catholic parish a buz. ( I was going to say “ring,” but most phones don’t ring anymore.) The receptionist will give you the info that you need and also put you in contact with the priest. They are there to help you. There is nothing to dread. It’s a lot easier than going to the dentist. And you will acquire much, much more than healthy teeth! You are in my prayrers. Write again if you need to.
