What do you think about Cleansing Stream ?

A Christian co-worker has invited me to participate in a “non-denominational” program by Cleansing Stream Ministries. Is this a program that I could benefit from? Should I stay away because I am Catholic? He says that it is for all Christians, but I want to know if you have ever heard of this program? (I can’t talk to my priest.)
Thank you for any response you may have.

As a rule of thumb, I would say avoid it. The hodge podge of what they will teach about spiritual warfare is more than likely not in keeping with the Catholic Church’s teaching. That is pleanty of reason to avoid it. Without the church’s authority and teaching you risk much by participating I should think. :twocents:

While you await some personal testimonials, you may wish to peruse lots of pros and cons linked at:
Cleansing Stream Google Search

Personally, I’d rather spend an hour at Eucharistic Adoration.

Why waste your time? As a (Catholic) we already have access to the “Cleansing Stream”…its called Baptism with HOLY WATER by a Catholic Priest…anything less for a (Catholic) to partipate in outside of the church is nothing more than “tepid tap water”
