What is Fatima all about?

I was watching a protestant network today broadcasting a show about the third secret of Fatima. The show looked like it was filmed by Catholics to tell about some secrets or coverups in His Church.

The web site for the group is fatima.org and they publish a magazine called FATIMA CRUSADER.

Is this group center road or right/left wing? Are they trying to change His body, His Church or just trying to report on it?

Anyway, I would just like to know more about who and what they are and what their goals are.

Thank you,

I am not sure what to make of www.fatima.org. I have visited
their website and listened to several of their radio programs.
Both Fr Gruner and Fr Kramer have given extensive interviews
on Coast to Coast AM.

They seem to be very conservative, but they do have several
disagreements with the Church. They believe that the third
secret of Fatima that the Vatican released was not the real
third secret, or only part of the third secret.

They believe that the Pope did not consecrate Russia properly.
Other sources that I have read explain that the Pope
consecrated the entire world in addition to Russia.
www.fatima.org contends that the Pope should have consecrated
Russia specifically as per the instructions of the Blessed
Virgin Mary.

They also believe that there are masons and satanists at
work in the Vatican seeking to undermine the work of the Pope.
They mention by name Cardinal Ratzinger and Cardinal Sodano
as two such freemasons.

They have stated that Pope John Paul I was poisoned by these
satanists because he was going to expose the evidoers in the
Vatican. Pope John Paul I also wanted to restore the Latin
Mass, and do away with Holy Communion in the hand. They said
that Pope John Paul II took the name of Pope John Paul I to
remind him of what happened to his predecessor. They also
state that the freemasonists were behind the assassination
attempt of Pope John Paul I.

I find Fr Kramer and Fr Gruner to be very credible. They
sincerely believe what they profess. They just seem a little
too concerned with the above issues. I am lost as to whether
they are right or wrong regarding the consecration of Russia.
I agree with almost everything else that they proclaim.

Excerpt from an article in This Rock magazine:

Another example of a group found wanting is Fr. Nicholas Gruner’s International Fatima Rosary Crusade. Father Gruner’s priestly faculties have been suspended since 1996. His group has been in conflict with the Church for two decades. Essentially Fr. Gruner has accused the Holy Father of lying about the Fatima message and its application in our times.

Because Russia is still spying in the US and other countries and they are still building and designing new Nuclear Missiles. They may Be Right. The Pope is not poisened but his wishs within the Vatican are definitly not being addressed. He is not dead yet and he has a number of Papal Tools at his disposal. Which he can use against Bishops and Cardinals not following his orders. Its probably the Holy Fathers wishs that he not Excommunicate Bishops and Cardinals refuting his orders or he may be conducting an investigation to see whats at the bottom of everything. Hes a good pope. He makes all the right orders but often they do not get followed. Im not really sure why hes taking so long to deal with the problems in the church, It may be because hes old or it may be because the church like any other organization is slow to change.

How do you know that Russia is spying on the US and building nuclear missles? Do you care to provide documentation on this. As far as I’m concerned the iron curtain fell in Russia and one disaster has been in my opinion averted.

So “Grunerite’s” want to wrangle, nitpick, judge - in some cases mock and deride - popes and Ecumenical Councils, as if it is permitted or proper to do so among professed Catholics. The modernists dissent from Humanae Vitae. “Traditionalists” dissent from Ecclesia Dei and Vatican II, on no basis other than their own private judgment, thus attaining more power and authority in a concrete sense than the pope himself. Trust is placed in mere man or schismatic sects like SSPX, and Father nobody Gruner, rather than in God’s grace and promises, whereby His Church will withstand the gates of hell.

I believe in the Church, because I believe in the God Who established it. I don’t believe it can defect, because Jesus said so, and because history itself more than amply bears this out. I don’t believe that the Grunerite’s will ever subvert the church, nor destroy Fatima. Satan and his minions will lose in the end. True to Our Lady’s words, Many Souls will be lost, because of the likes of confusion brought on by the Cult’s that exist in today’s Church. They have always existed, but one day they too will be defeated. Along with a host of other ludicrous equivocations and rationalizing word games. Our Lady will Triumph in the end.

Gods peace be with all of you:love: ,

Thanks for the replies, they have helped me to better understand this issue. I guess I need to do more research to come up with a better conclussion.

A prisoner of Christ,

In 2000 Hanson Was caught spying for Russia, he was payed millions of dollars in Diamonds and a bank account in Switzerland. Obviously if Russia is so poor, they can not afford to pay their troops. Where does this money come from. This year they announced plans to build a new Nuclear Missile unlike any in the world. It is in the news and goto Google and type Russia plans to build new Nuclear Missile.

Also may 6 2004 the pope ordered the US Bishops to Clean up US seminaries but we still got the same old busted queer running the same old busted seminary so we will see.

The Jesuits minister to the wealthy. The Jesuit schools and Alike get tons of money for computer labs. While the poor Parishs get nothing. No computer labs, not even Busted computers…

Sorry I love the church here, but the lesson is we should not have an attitude of everything is fine we can stop praying here.

I also belive in the Papal Infalability of this pope.

Russia could be simply pretending they have changed. Their phony elections and what not would seem to indicate they are pretty much the same.

So who said anything about STOP praying. It’s not finished until Our Lady Sings.

This much is true.

you have to be careful because, and sorry if this sounds harsh, there are some pretty strange groups devoted to Fatima. Any apparition or alleged apparition of Mary tends to result in a few individuals who become overly fanatical about the apparition and lose sight of the overall point of our Faith. I’ve met some very strange people who were excessively concerned with Fatima, Medjugorje, and some apparitions I had never even heard of. This was in the fall of 1999 and they were all convinced the world was going to end in 2000, because of what Mary had allegedly said. Unfortunately I never got the chance to follow up with them after New Years! So be careful out there, be wary of any group that places more emphasis on an apparition’s “messages” than Church teaching. And be wary of any apparition that makes apocalyptic claims as well, since even Christ does not know when the world will come to an end.
