What is God's wrath? And the day of wrath?

So far I think God’s wrath is the seven plagues.

Revelation 15:1
I saw in heaven another great and marvelous sign: seven angels with the seven last plagues—last, because with them God’s wrath is completed.

God’s wrath is out of love for us. Imagine a kid getting an F in Math, his father would get angry and take his iPad, video games, etc. now the father did not do it out of revenge but out love for his kid, so the kid would stop wasting time and focus more on his study and future.

“Merciful and gracious is the Lord, slow to anger, abounding in mercy. He will not always accuse, and nurses no lasting anger; He has not dealt with us as our sins merit, nor requited us as our wrongs deserve.” Psalm 103:8-10

Pray it is not now.
