The catholic church makes the claim it is the church founded by Jesus in the Upper Room, given over to the stewardship of Peter, the Apostles and subsequent popes from Peter onwards.
The catholic church also says that those outside the church are not necessarily damned.
But what is good conscience?
If you read study and pray, but still feel that you cannot agree with or accept all the precepts of the catholic church, is that acting in all good conscience? And therefor you dont bring condemnation on yourself?
Or by virtue of the fact you have been told in no uncertain terms the catholic church is where you should be, but you refuse to join, for whatever reason, is that enough to damn you?
