What is the teaching on the sainthood of the Jews before Christ?

What does the church teach about Moses, Noah, Abraham, etc. as far as their salvation is concerned? I know that they haven’t been canonized saints, but I would think that it is reasonable to assume that they are in heaven. Thanks!

Dear bobby,

The Church considers those you have mentioned to be saints—plus others like David and Aaron. The apostles were not canonized, but like all the early saints in the church, they were considered saints by popular acclaim. Canonization came later. For more on this, see: %between%
