What is this with both creeds ?

Just took a bible and the mass program and we discussed the sections and prayers of the mass. I asked and could not get a direct answer and this is my question.
Both creeds say the Christ died was buried and on the third day rose AGAIN from the dead and …
The again suggests to me that Christ died more than once but I know that is true what does the AGAIN mean. Why not just say Christ died and rose from the dead…

All help is appreciated

Hi,

We get this one frequently. It’s just an expression that we use. When we say he fell down and got up again, we don’t mean that he got up twice. This is same situation that you are confused about with the creeds.
