My sister-in-law is severely allergic to wheat and as a result is unable to receive the Eucharist. I was going to suggest she only drink the blood of Christ but then remembered she battled with alcoholism as a young woman and can’t ever let any wine touch her lips. She desperately wants to partake in communion. What options does the church provide for such a problem?
