I would just like you to guess based on what you have seen in your church.
We can look at this two different ways, I guess. The term practicing Catholic could mean those who go to mass each week and observe holy days. Or you could look at it in terms of doing those things, plus following the Church’s teachings on morality. In the first case, I would say there are many “practicing Catholics.” But in the second case, probably not as many, I always see the churches here with lots of people in them. But if you get to know some of the people, you find many don’t “believe” in all of the Church’s teachings. They use birth control, don’t see anything wrong with abortion, etc. I personally believe there are lots more so-called “cafeteria Catholics” than true practicing Catholics.
