What should we do while we're converting?

My family and I are converting to the Church, and we are going to attend our first Mass on Sunday. I was wondering what is the appropriate actions we can take, and what we can not do. My Catholic friends say we can do everything except recieve the Eucharist. Also, what can we do outside of Mass so that we can start to live our lives as Catholics. I have contacted our parish priest and am going to have a face to face meeting on Saturday, and am going to ask these questions and more, but I would like to get a “head start”, if you will.
