When did Jewish religion officially start in Bible

#1

Was it with Adam and Eve, or Abraham?

Furthermore, what were the conditions for Adam and Eve to get the Heaven?

I would suspect if not Abraham, then the arri-
val of the Ten Commandments or the first ap-
pearance of the “portable Tabernacle.”

My GUESS! :o

Now what were the conditions for Adam and Eve to get the Heaven?
Jesus descending to the dead, delivering all
the captives waiting before the Resurrection.

Seems to me it began when God made a covenant with Abraham.

A religion is identifiable when it has systems that are followed by an identifiable group of people. Even a state/country is identified by systems or customs.

So when do we read that a system of worship was universally accepted by the Jews?
The Jews as we know them were separated while in Egypt through their father Jacob who was renamed Israel.
Their system of worship was formed as they journeyed through the wilderness of Sinai for 40 years under the leadership of Moses. It was fully formalized when they reached Canaan, and they built the temple where sacrifices were offered by the High priest.
The first high priest was Aaron, and the priesthood was from the tribe of Levi.
The Jewish religion was called Judaism.

The tribe of Levi earned their ordination by following Moses. When he had gone up the Mt. Sinai to get the commandments, the people turned away from God and started worshiping an idol. when Moses returned, he asked them, “those who are for God of Abraham to come go one side, those who are for the idol to go to the other side”. Only the tribe of Levi chose to go to God and were declared priests of God from that day.

Perhaps it started in Leviticus 24:7 when Israel agreed to keep all the commandments God had given them?

'Taking the Book of the Covenant, Moses read it aloud to the people, who answered, ‘All that the Lord has said, we will heed and do.’ Then he took the blood and sprinkled it on the people, saying, ‘This is the blood of the covenant which the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words of his.’

God made the Covenant with Israel…they were Hebrews, not Jews. “Jews” didn’t exist prior to the Captivity…when the primary “retruning” tribe was Judah…the “Ten Lost Tribes” were not lost…but assimilated into the conquering Babylonian culture…the faith of the returning members of Judah, then began to take shape into the “Judaism” known today.
