When is it time to pull away?

hi i’m new here. i have a question. when is it time to pull away from a family member? when is it time to distance yourself?

*If you are speaking of a sibling, aunt, cousin, etc…it might be best to keep some distance, if the person is repeatedly hurting you in some way. Or if the person causes you to stumble in your walk with Christ. Despite your concerted efforts to maybe help the person, if the relationship becomes unhealthy, it might be wise to distance yourself. You don’t give much detail, but just off the top of my head, I’d say those would be general rules of thumb.

If it’s involving a child, or spouse…that might be different. I would have to know more then, to give more advice.*
