WHITE HOUSE – The White House has released information about 10 al-Qaida plots that President George W. Bush says the U.S. and its allies have foiled in the last four years.
Three plots cited were in the United States. They included plans to use hijacked airplanes to attack both the West and the East coasts. The third involved plans to detonate a radioactive “dirty bomb” in a U.S. city.
Also, the White House says there were plans to carry out attacks in Britain and Pakistan, and at a tourist site outside the U.S. wnbc.com/news/5064741/detail.html
