Why did God choose Mary as the Mother of His Son?

Here is a theological question, which I think is deep. In your opinion why did God choose Mary as the Mother of His Son, Jesus?

it’s a dirty job, but somebody had to do it?

Imagine a network with millions of nodes. Most have five or six connections to other nodes. It forms a sprawling mass of strings and circles. However if you could look at the network with a computer’s eye, you might see that there is actually one node which is the focus. Remove that and the whole thing falls apart into two networks. Keep it intact and you have one.

It is entirely possible that Mary, though unremarkable to our eyes, somehow occupied such a special position.

Romans 9:21:
“Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for noble purposes and some for common use?”

The question sort of implies that God chose her as an after thought…
The amazing thing is the that he created her to be the mother of the son and our mother. He created her to be a fitting vessel, a fitting model of holiness, and free from sin (Full of grace) without taking away anything from her freedom to choose that role, from her ‘Yes’ which affected the whole world.
