Woke Up Not Feeling Well

#1

Hi everyone. I woke up not feeling well. My back is really stiff and I just have this general bad feeling all over. I am offering it up and meanwhile I took some ibuprofen but I just want to ask for your prayers as well. Thank you and I’m sorry for posting about such a trivial matter.

Holly,
Your post is not trivial. Your pain is real and you are correct in offering it up. I will remember you today in my prayers. Myself? I am recovering from tendonitis in the left shoulder; the three cortisone shots there leave me more sore than the original symptoms. When I move my shoulder a certain way, my upper arm hurts but then I remember the pain our Lord endured while carrying the cross to Calvary and it puts it all in perspective.

Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum. Benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Iesus. Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc, et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.

May Christ return health to you.

O Lord, Holy Father, omnipotent and eternal God, I give You thanks and I bless Your holy name. I know I’m a poor miserable sinner but hear a cause that is just, pay heed to my cry, turn your ear to my prayer, no deceit is on my lips. Amen

For your intentions

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.

Lord Jesus, hear our prayers. Amen

Lord, I pray for Holly. Grant her relief from her suffering. May she continue to offer up her suffering united to your Son’s and soon be blessed with a body free of pain. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.
