Nearly 200 young Catholics have signed an open letter expressing their support for the teaching of Humanae Vitae.

The letter, published in this week’s Catholic Herald, praises the document’s call to chastity, describing as “beautiful and prophetic”.

Good to see this. Too bad they’ll be trying to find ways to ignore or water down the teaching at the youth synod later this year.

It is good to see this resurgence of support for Humanae Vitae. Yet there are still some elderly folks including clerics who are working to undermine it .
