I grew up without a faith tradition. Went into the reserves after High School and shortly after I started searching for God in a meaningful way. Bounced around a few protestant and non denominational groups before coming across Catholicism. I became a Roman Catholic in 2013. Fast forward to 2020 and many long and difficult years of finding my way in the Church, I have finally found my place in the Catholic Church by moving into a Ruthenian Byzantine Catholic Church (I hope to start the official change to become a Ruthenian Catholic soon). So now I have one foot in the East, one in the West and am drawing on both Traditions to form my faith and that of my family.
